For anyone who plays (or wants to) play first base, here are some great, basic drills that you can do on your own.
First Base Drills
Footwork on the setup...
Footwork on the catch...
Pick the ball out of the dirt...
And drill progressions to pull it all together. I would add a progression where the first baseman starts off the bag in the 4-hole as well.
