Baseball Development - A Long Road

A great interview by SportsNet's Ben Nicholson-Smith with Paul Goldschmidt.  Very few baseball players are major-league ready in high school like Bryce Harper.  For most baseball players they are driven by their love of the game and improve a little every day.

Using that approach Paul Goldschmidt went from 49th-round pick (that means over 1500 kids were picked before him in his first draft!) to MVP candidate.
